Le statut de « Membre Ubuntu » est un titre honorifique reconnaissant le travail significatif fait pour Ubuntu par le candidat à ce titre. Ce peut être pour du développement mais pas que !
D’ailleurs ce n’est pas pour des rôles de développement que quatre membre d’Ubuntu-fr vont tenter l’aventure. Leur travail le plus remarquable est sans doute celui fournit sur la gestion de la communauté francophone.

The status of “Member Ubuntu” is an honorific title recognizing the significant work done for Ubuntu by the candidate. This can be for development but not that all!
Besides, it’s not for development roles that four members of Ubuntu-fr will make the attempt. Their most outstanding work is undoubtedly that provided on the French community management.

Pour apporter votre soutien c’est très simple. Vous devez disposer d’un compte Ubuntu One (Launchpad) vous permettant de vous logger sur le wiki Ubuntu, puis d’éditer la page de présentation de nos candidats. L’une des rubrique, « Testimonial » sert à recevoir vos témoignages. Plus il y en a, meilleures sont les chance pour le candidat d’être accepté comme « Membre Ubuntu »

Il est l’un des pilliers d’Ubuntu-fr. Membre du Conseil d’Administration et Vice-Président de l’association Ubuntu-fr qui régie la LoCo francophone, il est présent depuis le début.
C’est grâce à lui que les Ubuntu Parties de Paris (UbuCon Paris) ont vu le jour et continuent aujourd’hui. Il est aussi à l’origine des Webcafé Ubuntu, de plus en plus présents sur les festivals français (Papillon de Nuit, Vieilles Charrues, …)

Membre du Conseil d’Administration d’Ubuntu-fr, il est très actif dans l’animation IRL. c’est à lui que l’on doit les pauses Ubuntu parisienne (Ubuntu Hours). On le retrouve aussi sur les nombreux festivals au Webcafé, toujours là pour accueillir les nombreux visiteurs et leur faire découvrir Ubuntu. Véritable passionné, et toujours à la page, il vous fera découvrir les tous derniers projets Ubuntu comme UbuntuTV ou le téléphone Ubuntu.
En ligne, c’est aussi l’un des modérateurs du reddit Ubuntu-fr

Membre actif de l’association Ubuntu-fr, il est très présent pour promouvoir Ubuntu auprès du public, lors d’évènements libristes ou non. Son savoir faire technique sur l’évènementiel en fait un atout considérable.
Il a longtemps été le régisseur son des conférences des Ubuntu Parties et s’occupe depuis quelques années du bien-être de nos bénévoles

C’est moi. Je suis présent sur de nombreux évènements afin de présenter Ubuntu au public. J’essai d’apporter un maximum d’information au public francophone, et présente les dernières technologies Ubuntu dans le but de les démystifier.
Je suis également un Ubuntuphone Insider, et donc à ce titre distilleur d’information sur Ubuntuphone au public francophone

You need an Ubuntu One account (Launchpad) allowing you to log in on the [Ubuntu wiki] (https://wiki.ubuntu.com), then edit the presentation page of our candidates. One section, “Testimonial” is for receiving your testimonials. More they have, better is the chance for the candidate to be accepted as “Ubuntu Members”
